A man came to the Prophet (saw) and said: O Messenger of Allah, teach me but make it concise. He said: When you stand to pray, pray like a man bidding farewell. Do not say anything for which you will have to apologize. And give up hope for what other people have. Narrated by Abu Ayyub al-Ansari

It was narrated from Aishah that she said, O Messenger of Allah, what do you think I should say in my supplication, if I come upon Laylatul-Qadr? He said, Say O Allah, You are Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, ... Shall I not tell you of something which, if you do it, you will love one another? Spread the greetings of Salam among yourselves.

The Prophet (saw) said: Whoever conceals the (hidden) fault of his Muslim brother, Allah (SWT) will conceal his faults on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever exposes the fault of his Muslim brother, Allah will expose his faults, until (so that) He shames him, due to it, in his (own) house.

The Prophet (saw) said, The people will remain upon goodness as long as they hasten to break their fast.

Rasullah (saw) said, When the Imam says: Sami Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears those who praise Him), say: Rabbana wa lakal-hamd (O our Lord, to You is the praise).

Prophet (saw) used to say, Praise is to Allah in all circumstances, O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the situation of the people of Hell.

The prayer (Salah) is better than sleep.

Imaan is knowledge in the heart, words on the tongue and action with the physical faculties.

...Uthman said, I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say: Fasting is a shield against the Fire just like the shield of anyone of you against fighting.

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, When you see the new crescent then fast, and when you see it then stop fasting. If it is cloudy then fast thirty days.

The Prophet (saw) used to strive hard (in ibaadah [worship]) in the last ten nights of ramadan as he never did at any other time.

Whoever fasts ramadan out of imaan and the hope of reward will be forgiven his previous sins.

Messenger of Allah (saw) said, There should be neither harming nor reciprocating harm.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: Imaan is knowledge in the heart, words on the tongue and action with the physical faculties. (limbs of the body).

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: The likeness of the heart is that of a feather blown by the wind in the desert.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: There is nothing like marriage, for two who love one another.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: Marriage is part of my sunnah, and whoever does not follow my sunnah has nothing to do with me. Get married, for I will boast of your great numbers before the nations. Whoever has the means, let him get married, and whoever does not, then he should fast for it will diminish his desire.

One of the supplications that the Prophet (saw) used to say was: O Allah, I seek refuge with You from knowledge that is of no benefit, from a supplication that is not heard, from a heart that does not fear (You) and from a soul that is not satisfied

I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say: There is no one who goes out of his house in order to seek knowledge, but the angels lower their wings in approval of his action.

The best words are the Words of Allah, and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad (SAW).

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: Whoever sleeps and misses his daily portion of Quran, or any part of it, let him read it between the Fajr prayer and the Zuhr prayer, and it will be recorded as if he had read it during the night.
