Al-Muhaymin. The meaning of this term in respect of Allah Most High is that He brings about the actions, sustenance and life span of His creatures. Moreover, He brings (these) about for them through the instrumentality of His knowledge, control and preservation of them.

Even if a person reads and teaches a hundred thousand books on intellectual and knowledgeable issues but does not act on any of it, then it will not benefit him at all...
Whosoever leaves something for the sake of Allah then Allah, the Mighty and Magnificent, will replace it with something better than it.
And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied.
The key to all good is longing for the hereafter and the key to all evil is love of this world and extended hopes.
There are four types of oceans; passion is the ocean of sins, the nafs is the ocean of desires, death is the ocean of lives, and the grave is the ocean of regrets.
The rights of imaan are four, God-consciousness (Taqwa), shame, gratitude and patience.
He who has no manners has no knowledge; he who has no patience has no deen; and he who has no taqwa has no closeness to Allah.
Glad tidings to the one whose intellect is his master and whose desire is his slave. And woe to the one whose desire is his master and whose intellect is his slave.
The one who is close to Allah due to his obedience will be a stranger amongst people.
Messenger of Allah (saw) said, I guarantee a house in Jannah for one who gives up arguing, even if he is in the right; and I guarantee a home in the middle of Jannah for one who abandons lying even for the sake of fun; and I guarantee a house in the highest part of Jannah for one who has good manners.
Even if bad thoughts cross our minds, we should not let them stay, otherwise they may become hopes and wishes which we may act upon, and harm ourselves and others in the process.
Whoever thinks of the greatness of Allah will never be at ease in committing wrong actions.
Look to one who is lower than you, and do not look to one who is above you. For indeed that is more worthy (so that you will) not belittle Allah's favours upon you.
Ar-Rahman and Ar-Raheem. These two names are derived from rahma (mercy). (The concept of) mercy necessitates one who is an object of mercy, for no one is an object of mercy unless he is in need. Ar-Rahman is the one by means of whom the needs of the needy persons are satisfied in such a way that neither intent, volition nor solicitude are involved. The one in need is not called Raheem.
Allah is the name of the existent, the one who is entitled to the divine attributes, the one who is qualified by the qualities of lordship. He is unique in terms of authentic existence.
If someone does you a favour and you say: May Allah reward you with goodness. ...then you have indeed excelled in praising him.
Lead such a life that, when you die, the people may mourn you, and while you are alive they long for your company.
From following desires comes desire for this world, and from desire of this world comes love of wealth and status, and from love of wealth and status comes making lawful that which is forbidden.
If a man's patience is stronger than his whims and desires, then he is like an angel, but if his whims and desires are stronger than his patience, then he is like a devil. If his desire for food, drink and sex is stronger than his patience, then he is no better than an animal.
And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers.
Whoever from amongst you sees an evil should change it by his hand, if he is unable to do so then he should change it by his tongue (by speaking against it), and if he is unable to do so then he should reject it in his heart - and this is the weakest of Iman.
And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah, and be not divided among yourselves, and remember Allah's Favour on you, for you were enemies one to another but He joined your hearts together, so that, by His Grace, you became brothers...
And We have decreed set phases for the moon, until it ends up looking like an old date branch. It is not for the sun to overtake the moon nor for the night to outstrip the day; each one is swimming in a sphere.
And your Lord says: Call on Me; I will answer your (Prayer): but those who are too arrogant to serve Me will surely find themselves in Hell - in humiliation!
Our Lord! pour out on us patience, and cause us to die as Muslims.
And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, Indeed, I am of the Muslims.
We were the most humiliated people on earth and Allah gave us honour through Islam. If we ever seek honour through anything else, Allah will humiliate us again.
Sit with those who love Allah, for that enlightens the mind.
My Lord! Inspire and bestow upon me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favours which You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds that will please You, and admit me by Your Mercy among Your righteous slaves.
Do not detest the misfortunes that befall you, for what you detest may be the cause of your salvation and what you like may be the cause of your ruin.
Resignation to the Will of Allah (swt) is the cure of the heart.
