It is the states of the heart, the place of our intentions that hold us accountable!

No poverty is worse than ignorance, no wealth is better than reason, no worship is like contemplation, no goodness is like good character, and no devotion is like restraint.

It is enough for a man to prove himself a liar when he goes on narrating whatever he hears.

The lamps are different but the light is the same.

Arguing about sacred knowledge causes the heart to harden and results in hatred.

Envy is the desire for someone who has a blessing to be deprived of it, whether it is a religious or worldly blessing.

It is not the knowledge which should come to you, it is you who should come to the knowledge.

Whoever fasts Ramadhan and follows it with six days of Shawwal, it will be as if he fasted for a lifetime.

In the Name of Allah with Whose Name there is protection against every kind of harm in the earth or in the heaven, and He is the All-Hearing and All-Knowing.

Righteous action is the doing of good i.e. the doing of righteous deeds, and righteous deeds are those which Allah has ordered us to do.

And is bliss other than the bliss of the heart, and is torment other than the torment of the heart?

We have sent it down as an Arabic Quran so you people may understand.

The believers were destroyed by their inability in Arabic.

Truly, if you remain, the Quran will be recited by three groups of people: one group for Allah, one group for the world, and one group for argumentation. He who seeks by it will attain.

You've seen my descent. Now watch my rising!

No greater grace can be granted by human beings to one another than that which parents grant to their offspring.

In the morning, the believers thank Allah for survival; and after death, they are thankful for their Taqwa.

Don't ruin your happiness with worry, and don't ruin your mind with pessimism. Don't ruin your success with deception and don't ruin the optimism of others by destroying it. Don't ruin your day by looking back at yesterday

Let not your hatred be destruction. When you hate someone, you love to see your companion destroyed.

When a servant awakens and spends his day with no concern except Allah alone, then Allah the Exalted will take care of all his needs and concerns.

Muslims should live like brothers.

Do not take a small sin lightly; instead, think about Who it is that you are disobeying. You are disobeying the Almighty Lord Who sometimes punishes people for small sins, and sometimes pardons people for great sins.

Do not sell your conscience for anything but Jannah.

The days of life pass away like clouds, so do good while you are alive.

Whoever smiles at his brother's committing of a sin has betrayed him.

Virtue never dies.

Indeed those who came before you saw the Quran as personal letters from their Lord. So they would ponder over it by night and yearn for it by day.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, ... Shall I not tell you of something which, if you do it, you will love one another? Spread the greetings of Salam among yourselves.

The month of Ramadan to the other months is like Yusuf (as) to his brothers. So, just like Yusuf (as) was the most beloved son to Yaqub (as), Ramadan is likewise the most beloved month to Allah (swt).

And know that victory comes with patience, relief with affliction, and hardship with ease.

Let silence be the art you practice.

Our Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous.

Whoever does evil or wrongs their soul, then seeks the pardon of Allah, will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful.

O Allah bless us in Rajab and Shaban and let us reach Ramadan.

I have believed in Allah and His Messenger (saw).

People are more in need of knowledge than food and drink because they only need food and drink once or twice a day - but they need knowledge with every breath they take.

Rasullah (saw) said, My companions are like stars, whichever of them you use as a guide, you will be rightly guided.

Keep yourself busy in remembering your own faults, so that you have no time left to remember the faults of others.

In this world there is a paradise, whoever does not enter it will not enter the Paradise of the Hereafter.

The Lord loves to be loved.

Guidance is not attained except with knowledge and correct direction is not attained except with patience.

A sign that your good deed has been accepted is that you do more good deeds after it.

The Prophet (saw) said: Mercy is only removed from the one who is destined for wretchedness.

And if all the trees in the earth were pens, and the sea, with seven more seas to help it, (were ink), the words of Allah could not be exhausted. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Wise.

Abu Huraira narrated that, Allah's Messenger (saw) said, When Ramadan begins, the gates of Paradise are opened.

The Prophet (saw) used to strive hard (in ibaadah [worship]) in the last ten nights of ramadan as he never did at any other time.

The month of Ramadan is superior to all other months, and the last ten nights are superior to the other nights.

The wise person is the one whose mind controls him from every disgrace.

Say, [O Muhammad], Travel through the land and observe how He began creation. Then Allah will produce the final creation. Indeed Allah, over all things, is competent.

And never is your Lord forgetful.

Allah the Almighty said, As long as you supplicate and hope in me; I will forgive what you do and I am not concerned.

Allah, the Exalted, said, I am according to the opinion of my servant; so think of me as you wish.

The Prophet (may Allah bestow peace and blessings upon him) said, There is no one who supplicates without Allah giving them what they asked for or removing a like harm from them; as long as he does not supplicate for evil or to sever kinship ties.

It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion. And sufficient is Allah as Witness.

All praise is for Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us and unto Him is the resurrection.

Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.

O Allah, may it be a beneficial rain cloud.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: The likeness of the heart is that of a feather blown by the wind in the desert.

Surely silence can sometimes be the most eloquent reply.

Anas narrated, The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) would often say: O Changer of the Hearts! Strengthen my heart upon Your deen. So I said: O Prophet of Allah! We believe in you and what you have come with, but do you fear for us? He said: Yes. Indeed the hearts are between two Fingers of Allah's Fingers, He changes them as He wills.

There are five obstacles to attaining God-consciousness (taqwa), and only the one who overcomes these will attain it; choosing hardship over ease, exertion over rest, lowliness over pride, silence over idle talk, and death over life.

There are four types of oceans; passion is the ocean of sins, the nafs is the ocean of desires, death is the ocean of lives, and the grave is the ocean of regrets.

If Allah wants good for His servant He gives him the understanding of the deen, reduces his attachment to the dunya, and grants him awareness of his faults.

He who has no manners has no knowledge; he who has no patience has no deen; and he who has no taqwa has no closeness to Allah.

Glad tidings to the one whose intellect is his master and whose desire is his slave. And woe to the one whose desire is his master and whose intellect is his slave.

Whoever thinks of the greatness of Allah will never be at ease in committing wrong actions.

Lead such a life that, when you die, the people may mourn you, and while you are alive they long for your company.

From following desires comes desire for this world, and from desire of this world comes love of wealth and status, and from love of wealth and status comes making lawful that which is forbidden.

If a man's patience is stronger than his whims and desires, then he is like an angel, but if his whims and desires are stronger than his patience, then he is like a devil. If his desire for food, drink and sex is stronger than his patience, then he is no better than an animal.

So when the Quran is recited, then listen to it and pay attention that you may receive mercy.

The corruption of religions comes from turning them to mere words and appearances.

Whoever from amongst you sees an evil should change it by his hand, if he is unable to do so then he should change it by his tongue (by speaking against it), and if he is unable to do so then he should reject it in his heart - and this is the weakest of Iman.

And I have never seen any obedience amongst the followers of the kings like I have seen of the Sahabah with the Prophet Muhammad (saw)! Whenever he would give them a command they would rush to do it, and whenever he would speak they would be silent as if birds are on their heads, and whenever he would make Wudu they would rush to get the droplets of water falling off his body, whenever a hair would fall from him they would try to get it!

I have visited the kings of the world, and I have had audiences with Caesar and with Kisra, and with the Negus, and I have never seen the followers of a king so devoted to their leader like the Sahabah in their devotion to Muhammad (saw). ....

And We have decreed set phases for the moon, until it ends up looking like an old date branch. It is not for the sun to overtake the moon nor for the night to outstrip the day; each one is swimming in a sphere.

And your Lord says: Call on Me; I will answer your (Prayer): but those who are too arrogant to serve Me will surely find themselves in Hell - in humiliation!

Do not detest the misfortunes that befall you, for what you detest may be the cause of your salvation and what you like may be the cause of your ruin.

The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, When three of you are together, two of you must not converse privately ignoring the third till the number increases, lest the third should be grieved.

He who calls others to follow the Right Guidance will have a reward equal to the reward of those who follow him, without their reward being diminished in any respect on that account.

The Messenger of Allah said, When Allah wishes good for someone, He bestows upon him the understanding of Deen (Islam).
