As long as you remember Allah you are in prayer, even if you are in the market.

You are in greater need of a little manners than a great deal of knowledge.

The most difficult thing I keep observing is my intentions as it is always apt to change.

The action, if it is sincere and not correct then it is not accepted. It is only accepted when it is both sincere and correct.

In the Name of Allah with Whose Name there is protection against every kind of harm in the earth or in the heaven, and He is the All-Hearing and All-Knowing.

The word of Allah is the medicine of the heart.

Where there is ruin, there is hope for a treasure.

And is bliss other than the bliss of the heart, and is torment other than the torment of the heart?

Truly, if you remain, the Quran will be recited by three groups of people: one group for Allah, one group for the world, and one group for argumentation. He who seeks by it will attain.

If all you can do is crawl, start crawling.

Above all other things, the one thing that I found to benefit a person most in this world and the Hereafter is a suitable friend.

We are your guardians in this world's life and in the hereafter, and you shall have therein what your souls desire and you shall have therein what you ask for.

Indeed, sincere good will does not include animosity, but is against it.

If you mix with people, then mix with good character for it only invites to good. Do not mix with bad character, for it only invites to evil.

Let not your hatred be destruction. When you hate someone, you love to see your companion destroyed.

Take care of what is between you and Allah, and he will take care of what is between you and the people.

Behave well in your private life and Allah will make your public life excellent.

Whoever gossips for you will also gossip against you.

Be good to others, that will protect you against evil.

They will recite the Quran, but it will not go beyond their throats. The Quran is only beneficial when it reaches the heart and is firmly planted in it.

The slave's fear of Allah is as substantial as his knowledge of Him, and his disinterest in this life is as substantial as his interest in the Hereafter.

How far is my journey and little is the provison I have.

Generosity hides shortcomings.

May Allah bless the man who says less and does more.

What you seek is seeking you.

Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.

Raise your words, not voice. It is rain that grows flowers, not thunder.

Ibn Abbas (ra) said that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said regarding laylatul Qadr, It is pleasant and clear, neither hot nor cold, the sun rises in the morning with a weak red (colour).

It was narrated from Aishah that she said, O Messenger of Allah, what do you think I should say in my supplication, if I come upon Laylatul-Qadr? He said, Say O Allah, You are Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me.

Confound not the Truth with falsehood nor conceal it knowingly.

A man will never fear something besides Allah unless it be due to a disease in his heart.

The Prophet (saw) said, If you say to your companions: 'Be quiet' on a friday while the Imam is delivering the sermon, you have engaged in Laghw (idle talk or behaviour).

Rasulullah (saw) said, be frequent in saying, There is no might or power except by Allah, (la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah). For verily, it is a treasure from the treasures of Paradise.

And verily, the help of Allah is near!

The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

No sin remains minor when accompanied by persistence, and no sin remains major when accompanied by the seeking of forgiveness.

The Quran was revealed to be acted upon. Instead, the people took its recitation as the (required) deed.

If the first inward thought is not warded off, it will generate a desire, then the desire will generate a wish, and the wish will generate an intention, and the intention will generate the action, and the action will result in ruin and divine wrath. So evil must be cut off at its root, which is when it is simply a thought that crosses the mind, from which all the other things follow on.

And rely on Allah; and Allah is sufficient for a Protector.

If a person truly recognizes his worth, then what will he gain from the praise of the people?

The worst of our faults is our interest in other people's faults.

The world is but a moment, so make it a moment of obedience.

My Lord! Bestow wisdom on me, and join me with the righteous.

Account yourself before you are brought to account and measure your actions before they are measured.

This world is a bridge and a bridge should not be taken as a home.

If you are grateful [to Me], I shall most certainly give you more and more.

Be to Allah as He wishes, and He will be to you more than you can wish for.

For everything there is a blessing; the blessing of the hearts is being pleased with Allah.

You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind.

Knowledge is sought after only so that one can use it to fear Allah; it is in this context that knowledge is deemed a superior thing; otherwise, it is like all other things.

If you want to know the true value of this world, look at the value and character of those people who have it (the people who are rich and prosperous).

Keep yourself busy in remembering your own faults, so that you have no time left to remember the faults of others.

Do not sit idle, for indeed death is seeking you.

This whole religion revolves around knowing the truth and acting by it, and action must be accompanied by pa�tience.

Be firm and upright upon the commands of Allah, work to His obedience and keep away from His disobedience.

Alif, Lam, Ra. [This is] a Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that you might bring mankind out of darknesses into the light by permission of their Lord - to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy.

You say that you are just a body, but inside of you is something greater than the Universe.

How strange! You seek guidance, yet you do not tread its path, surely a boat does not sail on land.

To be able to thank Allah for a blessing is a blessing within itself.

Those who look for seashells will find seashells; those who open them will find pearls.

The one who admonishes his brother secretly, he has advised sincerely and has honored him. If he does it outwardly (among others) then he has dishonored and shamed him.

Knowledge is not what is memorised. Knowledge is what benefits.

Whoever thinks that falsehood overcomes righteousness, they don't have full trust in Allah!

Know that if people are impressed with you, in reality they are impressed with the beauty of Allah�s covering of your sins.

And keep yourself patient [by being] with those who call upon their Lord in the morning and the evening, seeking His countenance. And let not your eyes pass beyond them, desiring adornments of the worldly life, and do not obey one whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance and who follows his desire and whose affair is ever [in] neglect.

For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship]. And to your Lord direct [your] longing.

O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous.

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, When you see the new crescent then fast, and when you see it then stop fasting. If it is cloudy then fast thirty days.

The Prophet (saw) used to strive hard (in ibaadah [worship]) in the last ten nights of ramadan as he never did at any other time.

Do not speak about things that do not concern you, for indeed, every time that you speak a word, it takes control of you and you do not have any control over it!

By time, Indeed, mankind is in loss, Except those who believe and do good, and enjoin on each other truth, and enjoin on each other patience.

And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], Worship Allah and avoid Taghut. And among them were those whom Allah guided, and among them were those upon whom error was [deservedly] decreed. So proceed through the earth and observe how was the end of the deniers.

And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it].

Never do the love of song and the love of Quran come together in a person's heart except that one expels the other.

As long as you are performing prayer, you are knocking at the door of Allah, and whoever is knocking at the door of Allah, Allah will open it for him.

If a person were wise, his concern over his own sins would distract him from seeing the faults of others.

If a young man honours an older person on account of his age, Allah appoints someone to show reverence to him in his old age.

Increase in worship before your responsibilities increase. Then you won't have time to worship as much.

The dua made at tahajjud is like an arrow which does not miss its target.

The hearts of man pass through two phases: activity and inactivity, so seek your hearts while they are in the state of activity and control them in the phase of inactivity.

A person who acts without knowledge is like someone who travels without a guide, and it is known that a person like this will more likely be destroyed than saved.

The real friend is the one who, when you ask him to follow you, doesn't ask Where? but gets up and goes.

Say, [O Muhammad], Travel through the land and observe how He began creation. Then Allah will produce the final creation. Indeed Allah, over all things, is competent.

Al-Mumin is the one to whom safety and security are attributed in view of the fact that he supplies that which brings them into being and therewith blocks the avenues leading to fear.

Knowledge is the life of the mind.

The messenger of Allah, said, None of you [truely] believes until his inclination is accordance with what I have brought.

The heart is the leader of the body, and through the purification of the leader the subjects become purified, and with his corruption they become corrupted.

It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion. And sufficient is Allah as Witness.

The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said, The Hour (Resurrection) would not come upon anyone so long as he supplicates to Allah.

The Prophet (saw) said, Straighten your rows as the straightening of rows is essential for a perfect and correct prayer.

May Allah bless for you (your spouse) and bless you, and may He unite both of you in goodness.

How perfect You are O Allah, and I praise You. I bear witness that None has the right to be worshipped except You. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.

And if you ask about its (heaven's) ground and its soil, then it is of musk and saffron.

Even if a person reads and teaches a hundred thousand books on intellectual and knowledgeable issues but does not act on any of it, then it will not benefit him at all...

And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied.

The example of those who take allies other than Allah is like that of the spider who takes a home. And indeed, the weakest of homes is the home of the spider, if they only knew.

There are five obstacles to attaining God-consciousness (taqwa), and only the one who overcomes these will attain it; choosing hardship over ease, exertion over rest, lowliness over pride, silence over idle talk, and death over life.

Four things, a little of which is still a lot; pain, poverty, fire and enmity

Be in Allah's estimation the best of people, and in the estimation of your nafs the worst of people, and in people's estimation just a man from amongst the people.

So remember Me; I will remember you. Be grateful to Me, and do not reject Me.

The one whose love of Allah is greater, has a greater degree of patience.

How perfect Allah is and I praise Him.

And We send down of the Quran that which is healing and mercy for the believers.

Ar-Rahman and Ar-Raheem. These two names are derived from rahma (mercy). (The concept of) mercy necessitates one who is an object of mercy, for no one is an object of mercy unless he is in need. Ar-Rahman is the one by means of whom the needs of the needy persons are satisfied in such a way that neither intent, volition nor solicitude are involved. The one in need is not called Raheem.

If someone does you a favour and you say: May Allah reward you with goodness. ...then you have indeed excelled in praising him.

... Whoever has forbearance, Allah will help him. Whoever tries to be independent, Allah will enrich him. Whoever tries to be patient, Allah will give him patience, and no one is given a better or vaster gift than patience.

So when the Quran is recited, then listen to it and pay attention that you may receive mercy.

Run away from greatness, and greatness will follow you.

Desires make slaves out of kings and patience makes kings out of slaves.

The corruption of religions comes from turning them to mere words and appearances.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: Marriage is part of my sunnah, and whoever does not follow my sunnah has nothing to do with me. Get married, for I will boast of your great numbers before the nations. Whoever has the means, let him get married, and whoever does not, then he should fast for it will diminish his desire.

Whoever from amongst you sees an evil should change it by his hand, if he is unable to do so then he should change it by his tongue (by speaking against it), and if he is unable to do so then he should reject it in his heart - and this is the weakest of Iman.

And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah, and be not divided among yourselves, and remember Allah's Favour on you, for you were enemies one to another but He joined your hearts together, so that, by His Grace, you became brothers...

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: Let the one who has most knowledge of the Book of Allah lead the people in prayer. If they are equal in terms of knowledge of the Quran, let the one who emigrated first (lead them). If they are equal in terms of emigration, let the one who has more knowledge of the Sunnah (lead them). If they are equal in terms of knowledge of the Sunnah, let the one who is oldest (lead them). Do not lead a man in prayer in his place of authority, and do not sit in his place of

The Prophet (SAW) used to say, O Allah! I seek refuge with You from helplessness, laziness, cowardice and feeble old age; I seek refuge with You from Fitnah of life and death and seek refuge with You from the punishment in the grave.

I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say: There is no one who goes out of his house in order to seek knowledge, but the angels lower their wings in approval of his action.

And I have never seen any obedience amongst the followers of the kings like I have seen of the Sahabah with the Prophet Muhammad (saw)! Whenever he would give them a command they would rush to do it, and whenever he would speak they would be silent as if birds are on their heads, and whenever he would make Wudu they would rush to get the droplets of water falling off his body, whenever a hair would fall from him they would try to get it!

I have visited the kings of the world, and I have had audiences with Caesar and with Kisra, and with the Negus, and I have never seen the followers of a king so devoted to their leader like the Sahabah in their devotion to Muhammad (saw). ....

No shelter is safe than piety.

Our Lord! pour out on us patience, and cause us to die as Muslims.

And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, Indeed, I am of the Muslims.

The prayer of you both has indeed been accepted, therefore continue in the right way and do not follow the path of those who do not know.

My Lord! Inspire and bestow upon me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favours which You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds that will please You, and admit me by Your Mercy among Your righteous slaves.

O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.

The world is 3 days: As for yesterday, it has vanished along with all that was in it. As for tomorrow, you may never see it. As for today, it is yours, so work on it.

The more knowledge you have, the greater will be your fear of Allah.
