Ar-Rahman is the one by means of whom the needs of the needy persons are satisfied in such a way that neither intent, volition nor solicitude are involved. The one in need is not called Raheem.
If someone does you a favour and you say: May Allah reward you with goodness. ...then you have indeed excelled in praising him.
... Whoever has forbearance, Allah will help him. Whoever tries to be independent, Allah will enrich him. Whoever tries to be patient, Allah will give him patience, and no one is given a better or vaster gift than patience.
So when the Quran is recited, then listen to it and pay attention that you may receive mercy.

I have visited the kings of the world, and I have had audiences with Caesar and with Kisra, and with the Negus, and I have never seen the followers of a king so devoted to their leader like the Sahabah in their devotion to Muhammad (saw). ....
No shelter is safe than piety.
Our Lord! pour out on us patience, and cause us to die as Muslims.
And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, Indeed, I am of the Muslims.
The prayer of you both has indeed been accepted, therefore continue in the right way and do not follow the path of those who do not know.
My Lord! Inspire and bestow upon me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favours which You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds that will please You, and admit me by Your Mercy among Your righteous slaves.
O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.
The world is 3 days: As for yesterday, it has vanished along with all that was in it. As for tomorrow, you may never see it. As for today, it is yours, so work on it.
The more knowledge you have, the greater will be your fear of Allah.
