Rasulullah (saw) said, be frequent in saying, There is no might or power except by Allah, (la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah). For verily, it is a treasure from the treasures of Paradise.

The Prophet (saw) used to strive hard (in ibaadah [worship]) in the last ten nights of ramadan as he never did at any other time.
And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], Worship Allah and avoid Taghut. And among them were those whom Allah guided, and among them were those upon whom error was [deservedly] decreed. So proceed through the earth and observe how was the end of the deniers.
Say, [O Muhammad], Travel through the land and observe how He began creation. Then Allah will produce the final creation. Indeed Allah, over all things, is competent.
And never is your Lord forgetful.
Al-Muhaymin. The meaning of this term in respect of Allah Most High is that He brings about the actions, sustenance and life span of His creatures. Moreover, He brings (these) about for them through the instrumentality of His knowledge, control and preservation of them.
Knowledge is the life of the mind.
The Prophet (saw) said, Those who are nearest to Allah are they who are first to give a salutation (salams).
The messenger of Allah, said, None of you [truely] believes until his inclination is accordance with what I have brought.
The heart is the leader of the body, and through the purification of the leader the subjects become purified, and with his corruption they become corrupted.
The Prophet (may Allah bestow peace and blessings upon him) said, There is no one who supplicates without Allah giving them what they asked for or removing a like harm from them; as long as he does not supplicate for evil or to sever kinship ties.
The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said, The Hour (Resurrection) would not come upon anyone so long as he supplicates to Allah.
Our Lord! Forgive me and my parents, and (all) the believers on the Day when the reckoning will be established.
O Allah, may it be a beneficial rain cloud.
The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: Imaan is knowledge in the heart, words on the tongue and action with the physical faculties. (limbs of the body).
Never have I dealt with anything more difficult than my own soul, which sometimes helps me and sometimes opposes me.
Anas narrated, The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) would often say: O Changer of the Hearts! Strengthen my heart upon Your deen. So I said: O Prophet of Allah! We believe in you and what you have come with, but do you fear for us? He said: Yes. Indeed the hearts are between two Fingers of Allah's Fingers, He changes them as He wills.
And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied.
There are five obstacles to attaining God-consciousness (taqwa), and only the one who overcomes these will attain it; choosing hardship over ease, exertion over rest, lowliness over pride, silence over idle talk, and death over life.
There are four types of oceans; passion is the ocean of sins, the nafs is the ocean of desires, death is the ocean of lives, and the grave is the ocean of regrets.
Four things, a little of which is still a lot; pain, poverty, fire and enmity
The one who is close to Allah due to his obedience will be a stranger amongst people.
Lead such a life that, when you die, the people may mourn you, and while you are alive they long for your company.
So when the Quran is recited, then listen to it and pay attention that you may receive mercy.
Run away from greatness, and greatness will follow you.
Desires make slaves out of kings and patience makes kings out of slaves.
Soft words soften the hearts that are harder than rock, harsh words harden hearts that are softer than silk.
Whoever from amongst you sees an evil should change it by his hand, if he is unable to do so then he should change it by his tongue (by speaking against it), and if he is unable to do so then he should reject it in his heart - and this is the weakest of Iman.
Our Lord! pour out on us patience, and cause us to die as Muslims.
And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, Indeed, I am of the Muslims.
My Lord! Inspire and bestow upon me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favours which You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds that will please You, and admit me by Your Mercy among Your righteous slaves.
O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.
The disease of the heart is worse than the disease of the body.
